Creating a new document
- Now to get into the features of Photoshop on the iPad, proper, and to do that, we're going to create and also work on a range of different composites. To begin with we're just going to go through creating a new file though, so here on the home screen, you'll see down at the bottom left I've got a blue icon just there with a plus inside of it and the words create new just to the right of that, so if I tap on that, I get the new document dialogue. Now, as you can see, there are some presets and recently used things available here on the left hand side and the right hand side, some numeric fields. I'm going to tap on the film and video preset here, and I'm going to choose HDTV 1080 P. Okay, so you can see there's a whole bunch of different things, and you'll notice that the right hand side changes as you select these. So the units I'm going to use here are pixels- 1920x1080 is fine, orientation landscape. You can see that…
