Creating a tilt-shift effect

- [Narrator] Photoshop has a great way to add the tilt-shift effect in post. I'll begin by converting the background to a smart object by right clicking on it and choosing convert to smart object. Then under the filter menu, I'll select blur gallery and then tilt-shift. If I want to reposition the blur i can use the pin in the center. If i want to to increase or decrease the blur i can use the wheel. I can also use the blur option on the right hand side increasing or decreasing the amount of blur. We can see that there's no blur happening between these solid lines. And between the solid line and the dotted line that is the fade range where it will fade into being a hundred percent of the blur outside of those dotted lines. I can always drag if i want to elongate the range between any of these different lines. If i want to move them together, i can hold down the option key on the Mac or the alt key on Windows. I…
