- [Instructor] When adding type in Photoshop, it seems like a pretty simple task. There are however, a few key things that can really make the process easier, and can help you to get the desired result. Let's take a closer look. Now, I'm going to select the Type tool over here. And what I'm going to do is I'm going to create text the first way using the method that I find that most people use. And that is by simply clicking somewhere on your image. Now what that's going to do is it's going to create what's called a point type object. Now, that text is really small. Let me make that bigger just so we can see what we're doing here. And maybe I'll just choose a different font. Let's go with this one. Let me just type the text blueberries, and we'll go ahead and select that and make that text white. There we go.
