Creating a zoom effect with Pinch

- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take that aerial view of Barcelona, and we're going to turn it into this high energy zoom effect, using five applications of the old school pinch filter. Now, I'll admit, this has nothing to do with masking inside Photoshop, it has everything to do with special effects, which can be a whole lot of fun. Alright, so I'll go ahead and switch over to the image so far, and I'll click on the Bologna layer. Now for the sake of demonstration, I want to apply the pitch filter as a dynamic smart filter, which means that I first need to convert this layer to a smart object, but if I do so the way things are, I will incorporate that color overlay effect, which is not what I want to do, in fact I don't want it to be here anymore, but I am going to use it in just a moment. So I'm going to grab the word effects there, and drag it and drop it onto the surfer layer. Now I don't really want him to be covered in orange, so I'm going to turn the effects off…
