Cropping without deleting any pixels

- [Instructor] Now I'll show you how to crop an image non-destructively, or at least as non-destructively as it gets, using the crop tool. And so let's say that I'm looking at this image and I want to get back some more sky. Well, initially it appears that I've lost my crop boundary. So even though the crop tool is selected, I'm not seeing any boundary at all. But I can bring it back just by clicking inside the image window. But notice, if I drag up in order to expose more sky, all I'm going to get is white or whatever the background color is down here at the bottom of the toolbox. And that's because, by default, the crop tool goes ahead and throws away any cropped pixels. And so notice over here in the layers panel, there's an implication that we have layers, but if I was to press the escape key in order to abandon my changes, I would see that I have a flat background and the background is never any bigger than the…
