Customizing a Black & White adjustment

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you a couple of ways to customize your black and white settings, and also show you how to save those settings as a preset that you can then turn around and apply to a future image. I'm going to start things off by double-clicking on the thumbnail for this BNW layer here, in order to open the Properties panel, and you can start from any preset you like, for example, I'll just go ahead and switch things over to yellow filter for now. And now notice, of course you can go ahead and drag these slider triangles around and Photoshop will automatically preview the effects on-screen, or if you like, you can try out this targeted adjustment tool, which you can select right here in the Properties panel. And then just go ahead and drag back and forth inside the image. So, if you drag to the right, you'll brighten a certain group of colors, and if you drag to the left, you will darken those colors, and you will see the corresponding value change here inside…
