Dehaze and Post-Crop Vignetting

- [Instructor] In this movie I'll demonstrate two of Camera Raw's special effects functions. Namely de-haze and post crop vignette. Alright, as you can see I have three images selected. At which point, I'll go ahead and right click on any one of them and choose open in camera raw. Or of course I could press control R, or command R on the Mac. And for starters here, I'm going to take this stock image from the Fotolia image library, and I'll click on the FX icon, bring up a list of three different kinds of special effects. In this movie we're going to talk about de-haze and post crop vignetting. I'm going to save grain for our discussion of noise in the mastery course. Alright, so notice this cloudy image is pretty hazy as well. It's thick with atmosphere, in other words. If you want to cut through the atmosphere a little bit, then you can crank up this de-haze value like so. Or if you wanted to add more haze to the scene, you could take the value down.
