Designing your own custom quadtone

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to design your own custom quadtone. And along the way, we'll transform this gradient that I created for you in advance into this darker and slightly more colorful effect here. Alright, I'm going to switch back to my image so far and double-click on the thumbnail for the Infusion Layer to bring up the Properties panel. And if you're working along with me, make sure that you selected that final gradient, Blue Metallic. And then, click on this gradient ramp in order to bring up the Gradient Editor dialog box. Alright now, bear in mind the whole time you're working here that black is located on the left side of the gradient and white is located on the right. Just as if we were working with a levels adjustment layer. And, in fact, these color stops behave like points on the histograms. So, for example, if I were to drag this black point right here farther to the right, then I would clip the shadow detail inside the image. If I drag this white…
