- [Chris] Hello friends, this is Chris Orwig and welcome to another episode to Photo Tools Weekly. In this weeks episode we are in Lightroom. We'll be working with a landscape photograph that I captured out in the desert in California. And here I wanna share with you a detail extraction technique. Which will involve starting off with a raw file and creating a virtual copy and processing that one a little bit differently and then combining those two together in Photoshop. All right, well here what we'll do is we'll go ahead and create the virtual copy, command, apostrophe on a Mac, control, apostrophe on Windows. This one here is gonna be the one we'll get detail out of. It's gonna go black and white, so we'll click on Black and White. We're gonna boost the shadows. We're gonna boost the clarity. We're gonna crank up the Dehaze. And typically you wouldn't have this high of values because it's starting to make the image look a little almost HDR. If I zoom in on it you can almost see how…
