Double-hit blending

- [Instructor] Here's a technique that I call double hit blending, which you may find useful in Photoshop on the iPad given that there are some limitations as to what it can do. But this works on the Desktop just as well but not for everything. Some things it does, some things it doesn't. You'll have to be the judge of that. What I'm going to do here is I'm going to add a new layer to this and it's this balloon render, which I'm going to reduce down in size like so and take that so it's just as if someone is coming across to visit your strange piece of floating turf there, although it does appear to have contact with the ground but you know what I mean. So I'm going to tap Done now that's at the right size. And what I'm then going to do is go ahead and and blend this by using the multiply blend mode. Now, if you remember, multiply is a space in which white is invisible. So when I do that, this is what I get.…
