Establishing a borderless bleed

- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show you how to establish what's known as a bleed, which gives you a little bit of extra wiggle room when you're trimming your artwork away from the page. And even though it's a little more work because it involves an exacto knife or other real world traditional tool, it provides you with the best borderless printing money can buy. And so the first thing I'm going to do is go up to the file menu and choose the print command. And as you may recall we've gotten all of these printing marks turned on. I'm going to turn off every single one of them except the corner crop marks which are the trim marks that we're seeing in the four corners of the page. Now, the problem with the way things are now is if I were to print the image and then try to cut it away from the page, I have no wiggle room, which means I could easily expose a little bit of white paper after which point you might as well…
