Exporting vector-based layers to SVG

- [Narrator] Now, in a live-action intro, I was saying that we have just three file formats, JPG, GIF, and PNG. Well now, we have a fourth one, which is SVG. And that stands for scalable vector graphics, which can be useful when you have vector-based shape layers, such as this text, or these square shape layers. And that way you can zoom in on your graphic via a web browser, and see more and more detail. And here's how it works. First of all, I want you to know that both of the images I have open right now are sRGB images, so we don't have to worry about losing our colors. Next I'll go up to the File menu, choose Export, and choose Export Preferences to bring out the big Preferences dialog box. And notice that you can change the format for the Quick Export command to any of the formats we've seen so far, as well as SVG. And you also have the option of changing where your files are saved.
