Filling in regions with the Brush tool
- [Instructor] In this movie we'll paint everything inside the mask region white and everything outside the mask region black using the Brush Tool set to a Hardness value of 100% and a Spacing value of 10%. And so by the end of this movie we'll take what we have so far and turn it into this. So it's just a matter of painting and testing our work with the Magic Wand Tool. All right, so this is another major operation, which means that I'm gonna create a copy of this alpha channel by dragging and dropping it onto the little page icon at the bottom of the Channels panel. But if you press and hold the Alt key or the Option key on the Mac as you drop then you'll force a display of the Duplicate Channel dialog box, at which point you can just go ahead and name this channel jacket and then click OK. All right, now I'm gonna go ahead and zoom in, so I can better make out what I have to work with here. And notice that we have some pretty rough edges along the top right shoulder. All right, so…
