Filtering images

- [Instructor] Once ratings have been applied to your images, you can use the Filter pane to filter according to those ratings. So, for example, if I only wanted to see my one star images, I'll put a check mark next to that. If I want to see my one and two star, a check mark next to both. But in addition to filtering by rating, I can also filter by file type, by keywords and by any other of these different parts of the metadata. And this is something that Bridge offers and Lightroom currently does not. You can filter by orientation. So if you only want to see those images that are portrait or only those images that are landscape, then put a check mark next to that particular orientation. Now, just bear in mind that with the possibility of filtering your view in so many different ways, you can sometimes confuse yourself or, at least, I find I sometimes confuse myself.
