Finding the perfect font
- [Instructor] Over the next couple of movies we're going to create this display text wish you were here. And we're going to start things off with a few tips and tricks for finding the perfect font inside Photoshop, which is becoming an improved experience over time. Nowadays you can select a font, of course, you can also search for fonts either by name or by style, you can favorite fonts that you use on a regular basis. If you like a font but you don't love it, you can search for similar fonts and you can download free fonts from Typekit. And just because I want to maintain the formatting attributes I've assigned so far, I'll create a copy of this layer by pressing control J or command J on the Mac. And I want you to notice that type layers are automatically named after their contents. You can override that by double clicking on the layer name and entering a different one, but if you do, then that will become it's permanent name over time. I don't want that to happen so I'm just…
