- [Instructor] Alright, in this movie, we're gonna begin work on a real world project, in which we composite a couple of photographs from the Dreamstime image library about which you could learn more and get some great deals at dreamstime.com/deke.php and notice that, at least where the foreground image is concerned, we have a very narrow depth of field. So really, just this middle guy is in focus. The guy on the left is forward of the focus point. The woman on the right is behind the focus point. And then, of course, the rest of the background is way, way behind that focus point and so what we wanna do is extract this middle guy right here and keep portions of his coworkers and then mask them against this dramatic background. And along the way, we're gonna compare a focus area to that select subject command that we saw in the previous chapter.
