- [Instructor] In this movie, I want to have some fun with the oil paint filter. If we're thinking about oil paints, what better inspiration could we have than JMW Turner, and this is his painting, The Fighting Temeraire. I'm going to use this to create a color table. You can find this image on Wikipedia and download it and do the same. So, to create a color table from an image, come to the file menu and choose export, save for web, legacy, and here is the color table over here, and you'll see this if the file type is a GIF or PNG eight bit. From the color pallette menu, you can sort by hue, by luminance, and by popularity, and I found that you get a different result depending on which of these you use. I'm going to sort by luminance. I'll then return to the color table and save the color table. I'll now navigate to my folder and give that a name. It's going to be saved with an .act extension.
