- We're going to talk about color correction next, and as I said already, you may not have to do much color correction, because once you correct tone in your image, colors often fall into place. So I don't do a whole lot of color work, and I don't think about color accuracy, because I'm not printing a catalog, I'm not trying to sell a landscape to someone, and so I want the green to look accurate, I don't know, I don't know why you would deal with color accuracy in a landscape photo. Anyway, before we get started into a discussion of color, we need to get one thing clear, color on your monitor is not going to match your print. Alright we're done, that's really all I had to say about that, I mean there's just no argument about it. You can try calibrating. I wouldn't bother with color calibration unless you have a monitor that is calibratable, and unless you're in an environment without windows, you have to calibrate to a particular ambient light temperature, and if you're in a room…
