In this video, learn how to use groups to separate lines and color layers.
- [Instructor] I want to show you some more … finished scenes that I've done. … These have been created over the course of some … of my other tutorials in the library. … This one is from my Tips and Tricks series. … Let me play it for you. It's a very simple body turn. … And to show you the power of grouping … and why we use folders for everything. … We have the body folder. I also have a dress folder. … And it has all of the same exposure numbers … but it has the dress animation on it. … You can see the freedom then that I had to animate the dress … without wrecking the body animation beneath. … And the beauty of this too, you could do different versions, … like mess around with it, change the timing, … and do a lot of things that would have been very difficult … had I done the entire thing collapsed on to one level. … And we can actually see the dress by itself. … It looks pretty nice. … And as you can see too, I've gone in with a much finer line. … It's still a little rough. It has a nice brushy style to it. …
