- [Instructor] In this movie, we'll take a look at the HSL controls, which allow you to modify the hue, saturation, and luminance of your photograph on a color-by-color basis. So I'm going to start by selecting this image here, landscape arch.dng inside Bridge. And then, I'll right-click on the thumbnail and choose Open in Camera Raw. And we have this stunning arch right here, but the photograph itself is not a stunner. And that's because I've only partially developed it so far. I'm going to brighten up those shadows by increasing the shadow's value to 66, let's say. And I'm going to take the highlights value down to their absolute minimum of -100, which is going to bring out some contrast in the sky. And then I'll go ahead and increase the clarity value to 50. Now, it's tempting to take the vibrance value up higher than 30, for example, let's say I take it up to 90 or something like that. We end up with these amazing colors.
