Hiding the selection outline

- Generally speaking, when you're working with a selection in Photoshop, you want to be able to actually see that selection, or in the context of our typical workflow, to see the selection edge, that outline that shows us where the selection actually exists within the image. But in certain situations you might find that it is helpful to hide that selection, to not see the selection outline. Let's take a look at an example of that type of situation and see how we can actually put that idea to work. I'm going to zoom in on the image here. And I want to perform some image cleanup work. Here you can see there was a boat that just appeared through the tunnel of the Faraglioni rocks, here in Capri, Italy. I want to clean that up, but I wanna maintain a nice edge there. And I can use a selection to help keep that edge perfect. So I'll start off by just creating a basic selection of this interior area, something about like that will work pretty well.
