How do I change a color of an object?

- Sometimes as you work with a photo, you'll realize that an object isn't quite right. Maybe it's a commercial shoot and they've changed the color of the product. Or maybe the lighting conditions are making the colors not quite as accurate as they need to be. Fortunately Photoshop makes it very easy to select an area of an object or an area of a scene and apply selective color adjustments. Let's explore a few techniques. In our first example here, I find that the object looks pretty good, but I'd like to tweak the color of the grass. It just doesn't have the right feel. So I can take advantage here of the targeted adjustment tool and I'll use hue. Now when I click on the grass I see that it's moving the slider appropriately. We can get more of an amber feeling for late fall. Or a nice, richer green for early spring. Switching over here to luminance, I can now lighten or darken that area. And remember, darkening will…
