How do I create a great-looking JPEG?

- When it comes time to preparing images for the web, you really want to take control over the JPEG conversion process. Otherwise, you could see a large loss of quality that leads to unexpected results. To do this, I suggest you go under the file menu and choose Export, Save for Web (Legacy). This is an older way, but I really like the controls that it offers. Now what you can do is preview what's going to happen. You'll see that there are presets here for different file types. Let's go with JPEG High for a moment, and choose the 2-Up view. On the left is the original, on the right is the new one. Now we need to shrink this down a bit. So, let's go with a width of 1920 here for social media. And when I click the tab key, it automatically scales. From the Quality method, you'll see different options. I'm going to go with Bicubic Sharper so it preserves the detail there as it shrinks down. And let's zoom in here a little bit…
