- When working with pictures that have people in them, getting the skin tones right is important. And oftentimes mixed lighting or shade can really throw this off. As people, looking at photos of people, you constantly know when something doesn't feel quite right. So let's take a look at some skin tones and I'll show how to fix 'em. Now, as we take a look at this individual image here and we just balance this out, I see that the skin tones are close. As we take a look here, I'm just going to take the color sampler tool and select the skin tone here. And this lets me see the balance of red versus green and blue. Now, what you may find is that rolling the color temperature is going to do a nice job of adjusting the skin tones but if you overdo it, you'll get too much golden tones in there. So balance that out so the skin tones look natural. That could be quite useful and as you start to balance out the image itself,…
