How do I make skies bluer?
- As you work with images, you'll often find that the colors aren't exactly what you want. One of those most common ones that people desire are bluer skies. Let me share with you a few techniques that get the job done. If you're opening an image up, getting a blue sky is pretty straightforward. Now, if you're satisfied with the overall image and just want to affect part of the area, it's pretty important that you make a targeted adjustment. One way of doing that is the graduated filter. I can click and drag and then using the range mask here, target a specific color and I'll click on the eyedropper tool here and select the blue. And this allows me to affect just that range without getting the mountain in it. Now, if we take a look at those adjustments, you'll see that we can easily roll the color temperature of just the sky and have no effect on the rest of the photo. The use of the graduated filter works quite nicely…
