Identifying the target with the Select Subject command

- Photoshop offers a command that can analyze a photograph and try to determine what's most important. It's the Select Subject command, and it's not just for people. It's going to attempt, based upon focus and composition, to choose what is the subject of a photograph and make a basic selection. This can then drive other adjustments that you make. Let's open up two pictures here, and you'll see with the Photoshop document that we made a couple of selections, one to brighten up our subject, and then darken and desaturate the background. Well, normal color selections would be pretty tough here, we have tannish skin with brownish hair on a tannish and brown backdrop. Well, this gets a little tough. Let's go ahead here, you'll see that we have Select Subject, it's going to analyze the photograph and attempt to make a selection. Now what we can do is click Select and Mask.
