Image Blender app for compositing

- Image Blender is a nifty little app that lets you easily blend two images. It works with a slider control that is basically like a seesaw. One image is at each end and you move the slider to decide how much of each image you want in the final blend. So I'm opening Image Blender by tapping its icon. And you'll see an empty screen with two white icons and the seesaw slider at the bottom. So first, I'm gonna open my first image by tapping the one on the right from the library. And I'm choosing this image of a leaf. Next, I tap the square icon on the left to put at the second image in place. This time I'm gonna choose a shadow of an iron rail. It often works well, when you're using Image Blender to create textural effects, to choose very high contrast images. Images that are not at all alike and create interesting and somewhat surprising kinds of compositions. So, it becomes a little more powerful here because you can use blending modes.
