Improving a sports shot with Lightroom

- [Instructor] Hello friends and welcome to another Photo Tools Weekly Quick Tip. In this week's episode we'll take a look at how we can use Lightroom in order to improve a sports shot. Now one of the things that happens when you're photographing sports really of any kind is that you are looking for that simple moment. And so with this image, if we zoom in on it, we can see it's a nice moment, this is my cousin's daughter here. And I like how she's framed by the trees but I don't like all of this extra information. That happens a lot when we're photographing sports. So one of the things I find I often need to do is if I can't get close enough to crop the image on camera, I got to do it after the fact. So here I'll press the R key to access the crop tool. And I'll just do a freeform crop so that I can get really close here. I also want to make sure the subject feels like she is high in the frame.
