- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you the most basic way there is to create an exceedingly accurate mask inside the Channels panel. So in our case we have in image that exhibits what are known as Photoshop fails. That is to say small problems that we can generally overlook that could only have been introduced inside Photoshop itself. So notice if I were to turn off this guy right here you can see that this line doesn't quite go all the way through the net accurately and neither does this one or the one next door to it. Now for the most part we can cover up these problems using the two subjects of the composition but we have more obvious problems up here in the sky. And so notice this strangely symmetrical crab-like cloud formation right here smack dab in the middle of things. We also have this cloud which appears to be an identical cousin of the one above it. We have similar problems over here on the right hand side of the image and these are the kinds of problems that can be…
