Installing custom content

- [Voiceover] Before we start this course we need to install some custom content. We are going to be creating custom brushes from scratch, however, I already have example of these in the brush library we will be installing. You can either follow along in the lessons or use the pre-made brushes. We are also installing a custom workspace so that your copy of Photoshop CC 2015 will match mine. If you have an earlier version of Photoshop, you can follow along with your own workspace. This custom content is free to all Lynda customers. Let's go ahead and install. So here we are in the start screen of Photoshop and we are going to install our custom content by going down from the Edit menu to Presets, Export/Import Presets. There we are, make sure you're on the Import tab, you wanna select the Import folder and for our purposes it's on the Desktop in the Exercise Files folder, Custom Content. So you just need to make sure you know where the custom content folder is. Once you select that, all you need to do is open it and the custom content now shows up in the source presets, so we're gonna say Add All and we will then say Import Presets. And now they are installed. Now you do need to restart Photoshop so let's do that. And now that we're in here we should be able to go up to the workspace dropdown and right here is the Custom Brushes Lynda Edition workspace and from here we should be able to go to the bush presets and go down to Custom Brushes LE and you wanna replace those and there they are. Now that we have the custom content installed let's get started.
