Integrating and shading your tiny planet
- [Instructor] In this movie, we're going to take our tiny planet so far, and we're going to infuse it with depth and shading by bringing in none other than the planet Jupiter. Which is, you can see, is casting its own shadows on the buildings down right. All right, so we're going to start off with the planet Jupiter, which you can do by right-clicking on it with the Rectangular Marquee tool, and then you want to choose Duplicate Layer. Next, I'll change the document to the image so far, which is called Aqueous core, and I'll click OK. All right, now I'll go ahead and switch over to that image, and I'll rename this layer quite obviously Jupiter, and I'll press the Enter key, or the Return key on a Mac. All right, now I need to scale this image to the proper size. I want to do so nondestructively. So I want to first convert the image to a Smart Object by right clicking on it, with the Rectangular Marquee, and choosing Convert to Smart Object, or remember, if you load a D keys, you have…
