Introducing the Black & White adjustment

- [Narrator] In this movie, I'll introduce you to the black and white adjustment which gives you a different kind of control over the creation of black and white imagery inside Photoshop because in addition to red, green, and blue, black and white also gives you options for yellow, cyan, and magenta. Now you can apply black and white as a non destructive adjustment layer by bringing up the adjustments panel and clicking on this third icon in the second row. Or, another way to work is to go up to the layer menu and choose new adjustment layer, and then choose black and white. The reason I mention this is because if you followed along with all of chapter 25, then you may have gone ahead and assigned keyboard shortcuts to these key adjustments right here, including Control + Shift + B, or Command + Shift + B on a Mac to create a black and white layer.
