- [Instructor] Alright, I'm gonna start things off by introducing you to the select and mask workspace, which is a kind of subprogram that runs inside Photoshop. And along the way, we're gonna take these couple of images here, from the dreamstime image library, about which you can learn more and get some great deals at dreamstime.com/deke.php. And we are gonna mask them together in order to create this final composition right here, which as you can see, preserves these very fine hair details. Alright, so I'll go ahead and switch over to my starter file, press the backspace key or the delete key on the Mac to get rid of that URL layer, and I'll make sure the woman layer is active, because after all, that's the layer I wanna mask. And then I'll go up to the Select menu and choose Select and Mask. It has a keyboard shortcut of Control Alt R, or Command Option R on the Mac, which at first might not make any sense, but the R stands for Refine, which is one of the primary purposes of the…
