Introducing the old-school Save for Web

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll introduce you to the old school Save for Web command, which is still the best way to save single images at a time for the web. So I want you to notice here that we're seeing a copyright symbol on the far left side of the title tab. And that's because I added that copyright information in the first movie. And the great thing about Save for Web is that it allows you to save both copyright and contact information, as well as convert an image to the sRGB colorspace so that you keep your colors the way they look onscreen. And so to get to Save for Web, go up to the File menu, choose Export, and then go ahead and bypass these newer commands at the top of the menu, and choose Save for Web (Legacy). And that brings up the big Save for Web window here, complete with a preview of how your image will look when optimized, as you can see up here in this tab. And by optimized, it means compressed.
