Inverting everything with type
- [Instructor] In this movie I'll show you another technique that has nothing to do with masking and everything to do with compositing. And that's how to create type that inverts everything behind it. And so, notice that these letters are dark where the composition is bright, and bright where the composition is dark. And you can control exactly how those luminance levels map out. Alright, so I'll go ahead and switch over to the document in progress. And notice this group right here, which is called "text on path". It contains two text layers that I've joined to a path outline. And notice that all of the text is white. And so, all you have to do to make this effect work is start with white text, and by the way, I've set this text in a free font that you can find online that's called Amatic, A-M-A-T-I-C. And because you probably don't have that font on your system, I went ahead and converted the type to scalable shape layers. Alright, so you just wanna take your type, make it white, and…
