- [Instructor] Hi and welcome to this week's edition of Design Tools Weekly. What we're looking at here is the dictionary definition of paper or at least one of them anyway. And most of us are aware of the cost to the environment that paper has, of course leading us to efforts to become paperless. But the truth is we all need paper. We think while we're using it and some of the best ideas we've ever had started on a sheet of paper. I think we can't do without it. But most of us know that even recycled paper, while it saves many trees, has a cost to the environment with the many bleaches and acids and other chemicals used to make it usable. So would you believe me if I told you there was someone making paper a new way, from stone and recycled stone at that? You may not have heard of Karst Stone Paper. I hadn't until just a few months ago. But they are making the most amazing paper products from upcycled construction waste.…
