- [Instructor] Let's go ahead and swipe out so we can see the whole panel just here. And what we're going to do is with our fireball layer we're going to show the layer options. So let's go ahead and tap these sliders here on the right hand side, the slider icon there. We're going to change the blending for this layer. What we're going to do is change this blending to screen. Now you might not know too much about blending modes, there are plenty of places to find out more about them here, but let's go through the essential ones here that you really need to know. So multiply is an area where dark colors are more persistent. So black is absolutely dark, of course and so that would stick. Screen is the opposite of that. And in that space, black is invisible in screen and multiply white is invisible. And overlay is kind of between the two, where the middle colors or the middle tones stay.
