- [Instructor] Now that we have everything filled, warped, and shaded, we need to talk about how to get this on to a presentation board. The first thing we need is to get everything on to one layer and it's really important not to merge the file. The whole reason that we worked this way and used Smart Objects was so that, when we need to, we could change out the pattern fill. And if we merge the file, we lose the ability to do that. So, instead, we're going to click on the very top layer of the file and, on the keyboard, we're going to do Command Option Shift E. If you're on Windows, that would be Control Alt Shift E. It's very important. What it does, is make a merged copy on the top of your file so that all of the information is here in one layer. And now we can select that layer, copy it, move over to our presentation board, and paste it. But before we do that, let's put a little background on here. I'm going to take my gradient tool and drag out a gradient on the background. And here's a nice little trick that I do. I duplicate the background layer, Command T to transform and sort of smoosh it down to create a horizon line. This gives me a neutral background but still gives me a horizon line so that my images don't look like they're floating on the page. Now I'll paste them and it's too big, so Command T. I'm going to hold the Shift key while I resize it to make sure that I don't distort my image, very important. I see a lot of smooshed images and it drives me nuts. And now I'll click OK. To remove the white background, all we need to do is grab the magic eraser tool and click on the background and it will remove it. If you have any areas where there's an inside piece, sometimes in between the legs, you might have to click there as well. Now let's do another version as a line sheet. Here's the Peasant Skirt we filled earlier. I'm going to click on the top layer and do Command Option Shift E to make my merge copy. And now I can go ahead and copy this. Go over to my line sheet, paste it and we're going to, again, grab that magic eraser. We're going to click to remove the background and move this over on the page. Now we're going to go back to the Peasant Skirt. We're going to turn off the eye on the merge layer and we are going to double click on the pattern and swap this out to one of the other colors we're selling this season. Close this tab, click Save. And now we have our new color. The shading's a little dark on this one so maybe we'll go to the shadow layer and we'll lower the opacity a little bit. That's better. And now, up to the top layer, Command Option Shift E, we'll copy this. We'll move over to our line sheet layout page, paste. Grab the magic eraser and delete the background. We can move this one into place. And we'll go back one more time. Turn off the merged layer. Double click on the pattern. Again, click on the patter here. Switch to my final color. Close this file. Save it. Click on the top layer. Command Option Shift E is one of those two handed shortcuts. And we'll copy this. We'll go back to the line sheet page. We'll paste, take the magic eraser, delete the background. Move this into place, turn our background back on. And now we have a completed line sheet. It's as simple as that.
