Lightroom color correction with HSL
- [Instructor] Another way to work with skin color is the HSL targeted adjustment tool. HSL stands for Hue, Saturation, and Luminance. Go to develop an open HSL, select Hue. Activate the target adjustment tool. This allows you to make color and tonal adjustments simply by pulling it up or down. These adjustments affect the color you're on and also similar ones in the photo. Click on a spot on her forehead and move in until you start liking the color. Let's check the numbers again. It looks like we still have some work to do to bring those color numbers back in line. This time let's work with the saturation to pull out some of the problem color in the skin. Okay, that's looking better. And while the numbers aren't perfectly equal, the skin does look good. Now let's bring down the exposure on her face a bit, go to luminance and then click and drag.
