- [Voiceover] In this movie I'll show how to both load and use a library of 16 gradients that I've created in advance for you specifically for use with a gradient map adjustment layer. And incidentally these gradients are available to all of you whether you're premium members or not. You can download them for free. Alright, so I'm going to start things off by switching this layer back to the normal mode, which, if your rectangular marquee tool's active, you can get by pressing shift-Alt-N or shift-option-N on the Mac. Then I'll press the zero key to increase the opacity value to 100%, and because this is a violet to orange gradient violet is being mapped to black and orange is being mapped to white and the colors in between are being mapped to the various shades of gray. Alright, now double click on the thumbnail for the infusion layer to bring up the properties panel and click the down pointing arrowhead to reveal a list of gradient presets which you can scale by dragging the lower…
