Loading the pieces into a single Photoshop document
- Now that we've got all the pieces loaded into the computer, it's time to start to put them together. But it's important that you do a little bit of pre-processing first. I like to use Adobe Bridge. And remember, as you started to scan the photo or the artwork in, you might have had to rotate it to fit on the scanner bed. As such, some of the images might be upside down. Well, you can select those right here in Bridge and just use the rotate buttons here to rotate the images clockwise or counterclockwise so that everything lines up. And while it's not needed, if you want you can actually drag things here into the right order so you can kind of get an idea of how the pieces are all going to come back together. And really what we have here is a lot like a multi-row panorama. We've created overlap from one image to the next. In this case, it's just a painting, but we did the same overlap that we would do in Camera. As such, it's easy to select all of those images and just choose Tools…
