- [Chris] Hello, friends, this is Chris Orwig, and welcome to another Photo Tools Weekly Quick Tip. In this week's episode, it's all about making those colors pop. Alright, we're going to take a look at how we can do that, in the basic panel. I was on the east coast, traveling, and I came upon these beautiful colors, and I just loved the way the lobster buoys looked, here, but I want to bring out even more color. How do you do that? Well, in the basic panel, it begins by crafting the way the image looks. You want to increase the exposure maybe a little bit here, but save some of those highlights. We'll bring those down, increase the contrast. That brings out color. Low contrast, low color saturation, so I'm going to bring up the contrast, right? Add a little bit with my shadows, and then, if you deepen your blacks, that will give you a richer, or a deeper color palette. Take a look at that. See how it changes that?
