- [Instructor] In this week's episode of Photo Tools Weekly, we are in Lightroom and here I want to take a look at how we can make our travel or vacation photographs come to life and this is a photograph that I captured with my iPhone. I was so excited, the colors were beautiful, the time of day, the light, yet when I opened it up I thought, it's just kind of lacking. I want to bring back some of that pop and snap to the colors that we have here. How do we do that? Well here, it starts by going to our light controls and in our light controls we can brighten things up and then add some contrast and contrast almost always increases the overall color saturation too, so you can see how it's boosting those colors there. Now this side's a little bit bright. Watch as I drop my highlights down, it's going to recover some of that brighter detail there, bring up some of the shadows, and so essentially we're kind of stretching out…
