- [Chris] Hi, my name is Chris, and welcome to another episode of Photo Tools Weekly. In this weeks episode, we'll be working with two photographs in Lightroom CC. Here we'll take a look at how we can improve color and tone in these photographs. Both of them are backlit, that means the sun is behind the subject here. In order to improve the photographs, we'll talk about working with our Optics, our Light control, and our Tone Curve controls. All right well, let's start off with this one here. This is a photograph of my daughter. She's the one in the pink sunglasses with her buddies here. If we press the E key, it allows us to access our edit controls, so go ahead and press that or click on that icon here. Next, let's open up our Color and our Light controls. The reason why I want you to have both of those open is to highlight that right now, they're all at the default settings. Take a look at this.
