- [Instructor] Now I want to show you how to make one of my favorite all-purpose brush tips. We're not limited to the brushes that come with Photoshop. We can actually make our own. And that's what we're going to do. Now it's important when you're make your own brush, that you make your brush with black. If you use any color or shade of gray, your brush is going to end up being transparent. And if you want an opaque brush, it's got to be done in black. So let's turn this off. We'll turn this one... Actually this is fine. We can leave this for now. We'll go into our top layer. Now I always like to make brushes next to an illustration so I can make sure that the scale is accurate. If you just make a random brush on the page, it may end up being way too big when you go to use it on your illustration. For this brush, we're just going to make a bunch of dots. So I'm going to grab the hard round brush. Go all the way up here. I want it really small, so something like six pixels. Seven, six.…
