Masking a group
- [Instructor] There may be times when you actually want to mask a group, and here that's what we're going to do. We're going to create a group just based on this layer because it has its layer mask already, but we want to mask it further, and we can't add more than one layer mask to this layer. So, we're going to go to the plus on the right hand side here and choose a new empty group. Let's double tap on the name there and give this a name, so "Castle group" like so, and rename that. And then drag this layer into that group. And you'll see it becomes indented slightly as it moves into the group. Now we don't need that open. We can collapse it, but we need to make sure that it's targeted like so. And then on the right hand side, we're going to tap the mask icon. Okay, just almost in the middle of that set. Now to mask this, to get it to blend in gently, what we're going to do is use a gradient, and you can see that I have the gradient tool active on the left-hand side. If you're…
