Modifying an adjustment and adding Save As

- [Instructor] In this movie, I'll show you how to adjust the settings associated with and adjustment layer, because it works a lot differently than you might think. And I'll also show you how to add a save as step, so we don't end up saving over our original images. All right, so I want to brighten up curves adjustment layer slightly, in order to accommodate for any possible dot gain. And so, in my copious experience creating full color books over the years, I've found that dot gain. Where the half dome dots absorb into the paper, can end up darkening images considerably. And so it seems like the best approach would be to double click on this guy right here, "make adjustment layer" in which case you'll first bring up the new layer dialog box. You can go ahead and leave that layer set to compensation, and then click okay, after which point you will see not the properties panel, but rather the curves dialog box.
