- [Instructor] So I went ahead and created my color chips, so let's turn those on. And now we can add the text. We're going to grab the Type Tool which is over here in the toolbar and click once on the page. And now I can type in the name, which is going to Caged Mist. And I am definitely not happy with this font, and I already looked to see if there was anything else I liked, and there wasn't. So we're going to go online and find a font from one of my favorite font sites. This is dafont.com. And the reason I like this website is because I think it categorizes fonts in a really user-friendly way. You don't have to be a graphic designer to understand it. So let's start by checking out decorative fonts and see if there's anything there that works. And I can just scroll through and no, I think these are way too decorative, so let's try another category. Maybe over in Script, we can try brush fonts and see what we find here. Maybe handwritten. I like this one, how about Melankolis? So to download a font, you click on Download, and it's going to download, we'll open our downloads and double-click on it. And now you can see there is the font and there is a readme text that tells you about the font. We're going to double-click on the font and click Install. And this same process works on a Windows computer. So now I can close this and we'll minimize this stuff and go back to Photoshop. To apply the font, we're going to double-click on our type to select it. We can go up to Fonts and we can scroll, oh, there it is right on top, and there's our font. Now it's too small, so to change the size, we Transform, Command-T. Grab one of the corners and make it bigger, and click the little check-mark. Now I think that looks pretty good, but since this is misty, maybe we can make this a little bit mistier. We could try lowering the opacity. And that's not bad, but I'm not madly in love with it. What if we took it and put it below this watercolor layer and see what that does? So we'll grab the type and drag it below the watercolor layer, and it disappeared, and that's because we still have the merged copy on top of it, the one that I made to do the color swatches. I don't really need it anymore, so I can turn off the eye. And now we can see how the Caged Mist looks behind the watercolor. And I do like that, but I think we can still lower the opacity maybe a little bit and combine the two. And there you have it, one beautiful mood board.
