- [Narrator] For this layout, we're going to create a beautiful ethereal look using layer blend mode. So now I've already gotten the file started. I opened a new file that was tabloid-sized and a resolution of 300 and I placed all of the embedded images that I'm going to be using. So I always start by turning off all the images, select the image that I want to use as my background image and that's usually my starting point. So I'm going to make this bigger so it fills my entire page and of course I started with the highest resolution I could find. These were downloaded from Adobe Stock. All right so there is my first image where I want it and since it's my background image, I'm going to move it all the way down to the bottom of the stacks and now we can open a couple of other images. All right let's use this one next and that's a little too big so we're going to make it smaller. Maybe just place it over here and another image. I'll make this smaller as well.
