- [Instructor] For this mood board we're going to work with clipping masks, adjustment layers, and layer blend modes. So let's get started on it. I opened a new file that is tabloid size with a resolution of 300 and I went ahead and placed embedded images that we're going to need to use in the file so it's ready to go. Let's open the first image. And I liked the look of this. I thought it was kind of a neat little desert-y wasteland-looking image, which is what gave me the idea for this. And we're going to grab the quick selection tool. at the bottom here 'cause that's the part I want. And we're going to add a layer mask so we get rid of that sky, which is really boring. We're going to put a much more dramatic sky behind it. I found this sunset picture that I thought was fabulous. So I'm going to start by grabbing my selection tool and making it bigger so it fits the page. Let's move it down below my desert image so it shows up behind.
